Comedian Bryan McCree has been seen on HBO, Comedy Central, Mad TV and has appeared in concert with Sinbad, the Isley Brothers and Cameo. But last Thursday, McCree performed in the University of Michigan-Dearborn's University Center for students.

McCree is originally from Flint, which is the fourth most dangerous city in America.

"I think we are just killing people to move up in the charts now," joked McCree.

McCree's life is the epitome of diversity. Caught between two worlds - one black, one white - the two worlds collide in a hilarious romp as he attempts to decipher black slang while trying to fit in with white family members and neighbors.

"I married white. I didn't say I married money," he joked.

No topic was untouched in McCree's performance. Topics ranged from his grandmother going to war, to shopping for underwear to stupid tattoos.

One of the funnier jokes of the day involved being employee of the month at Taco Bell. McCree informed the audience that at certain Taco Bell locations, they will put your name on the board for being employee of the month.

"Not only does everyone have to know that I work here, but now they know that I'm good at it," he said, delivering his punch line.

"I hate technology. It never works. I hate those motion sensored paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms," McCree joked. "I feel like David Copperfield in the bathroom."

"So I was driving the other day and seen a sign for a OB/GYN. The sign read entrance in rear," jested McCree, "Now either the door is in the back of the building or this dude needs to go back to school."

A topic that all the students could relate to was being a broke college student.

"You know you're broke when you are using your bills as coasters," he said.

"I thought he was pretty funny," said freshman Michael Allen. "He had lots of good things to say."

"I thought he was funny," said junior economics major David McHann. "I don't think he crossed the line with his jokes. I'm not politically correct."
