Issue date: 4/3/07 Section: Sports
The Wolf Pack has an optimistic outlook on the future, as there is talk of pep rallies, tailgates, chili-cook-offs and homecomings. The Wolf Pack will officially begin during the fall 2007 semester. The Pack will make appearances at freshman orientations so they are able to involve all incoming students.
"We want to appeal to everyone," Muncy said, "so that they all come to the events."
The Wolf Pack's next meetings will be tomorrow, April 4 at 7:30 and 9 p.m., as well as on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. All the meetings will be held in Room 218 at the Fieldhouse.
"Our main focus is to create more of a community here on campus surrounding athletics," Stulock said, "and to get people to come out and support our athletes."
The Wolf Pack will be ordering t-shirts for members, so interested students should attend the meetings and be ready to share ideas on how to show student athletes support.
Any other questions or information can be e-mailed to UMDwolfpack@gmail.com, or check them out at their Facebook group.
