"If you go back and look at the schedule, we had like five games in seven days," Pinkoswki said. "That was tiring."
Chelsea Acho led the team in scoring at 14.8 points per game. Morefield led the way in assists at 4.79 and finished third in the country in steals per game with 3.86. Zimnicki was best on the boards, grabbing 7.45 per game and freshman center Nicole Macleod led the way with 1.86 blocks per contest.
The team ranked eighth in the country overall in both offensive and total rebounds per game. Of 11 statistical categories, the Lady Wolves improved in nine of them over the past three seasons.
Sister Act
Chelsea Acho and older sister Nicolette were both honored by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference for their accomplishments on and off the court this year.
Chelsea was named to the All-WHAC Third Team and to the Champions of Character Team. Nicolette was named to the Academic All-Conference Team.
"I thought Chelsea deserved it," Pinksowski said. "As a coach, she's one of those players you love. She's very humble, and considering last year, that kid deserves a lot of recognition because she plays hard. She's a coach's dream."
