Lacrosse drops 2 to Albion in first conference games

It has been a rocky start for the University of Michigan-Dearborn lacrosse team. After winning their season opener, as well as their home opener, the team had a strong hold on the beginning of the season. But, after losing back-to-back conference games to tough competition and losing another one this past week, the team is hoping to regain that strength, improve and have a winning season.

Wolf Pack leads way to athletic excitement

There's a new pack coming to the University of Michigan-Dearborn and their target is students in uniform. The "Wolf Pack" is a new student organization on campus that aims to give student support to the athletes that represent our university and go unrecognized.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling team traveled to Columbus, Ohio to participate in their last event of the season on March 11. It was not a traditional conference event, as all games were baker-style, where more emphasis is placed on each bowler's frame.

There hasn't been much revolution in the look and feel of on-court basketball attire since the famed "Fab Five" invaded the University of Michigan back in 1992. Bringing their baggy shorts, black socks and shoes and brash attitudes to the court as a group of freshmen, hoops jerseys began to morph from their tight-fitting mesh former selves to what you see today.

Wolverines spring into football action

The annual Michigan football spring practice took place Saturday in Ann Arbor in front of over 5,000 fans. The team ran drills and the offensive and defensive units competed against each other. Freshman quarterback Ryan Mallett (left) impressed many with his arm.
