Hockey splits with Delaware to end four game winning streak

The University of Michigan-Dearborn split a pair of men's hockey games with the University of Delaware Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the Wolves battled but came out short as they fell to the University of Delaware 6-4. The loss ended a four-game Wolves winning streak.

A new season is on the horizon for the University of Michigan men's basketball team and ambitions are high for a team previously riddled with injuries. Entering the 2005-2006 season, the team is fully healthy and is only missing one player due to academic infractions.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's basketball team kicks off their season this weekend, Nov. 4 and 5. They will be particapting in the Indiana Tech Classic. The team will be looking at a roster of 15 players including eight freshmen, four sophomores, two juniors and one senior.

All signs pointed to a Saturday night shootout in Evanston, Illinois, as Northwestern boasted the nation's 4th-ranked offense and 117th-ranked defense. But the Michigan defense put the clamps down in the second half, shutting out the Wildcats and leading Michigan to a 33-17 win.

Men's basketball opens season against Tenn.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team will head down to Tennessee on Nov. 4 to open up their season against Cumberland University. The Wolves won all three 20 minute periods in a scrimmage played against Henry Ford recently, according to Coach Charles Turner.
